    NASWA Award Nominations Due
    NASWA announces the Call for Nominations for its 2010 Awards: Eagle Award, SEAL Award, and the James F. Walls Award. Nominations are also open for three Committee-Sponsored Awards: Baumgardner Award, Sanders Award, and a new award – “NASWA National Employer of the Year Award.” The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, July 30, 2010. Each year, at the NASWA Annual Conference, the Board of Directors presents several national awards that have a long history of recognizing contributions to the success of the nation’s public system. NASWA encourages all State Workforce Agencies’ staff to consider submitting nominations for one or more of the categories.   (07/12/2010)
