NASWA Privacy and Security Statement

NASWA/CESER is strongly committed to maintaining the privacy of your personal information and the security of our computer systems.

NASWA/CESER does not collect personally-identifying information about you when you visit the Workforce ATM, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Personal information users provide when registering for a Workforce ATM account or when signing up for E-lerts is never shared with outside individuals or organizations. The information you provide about yourself is confidential. However, if users select to be added to the NASWA E-Mail Directory, their contact information will be available to individuals who also have a Workforce ATM Account.

Cookie Use Notice

The Workforce ATM uses "cookies" to provide better service to its customers. We do not use cookies to collect any personally identifying information from users or to track user activities beyond our web site. We also do not maintain copies of cookies on our web site after you leave our web site.

Cookies are small pieces of temporary data that are exchanged between a web site and a users computer which enable a "session", or "dialog", to be established between the two machines. With the session established, the Workforce ATM is able to tailor its responses (i.e., identify and provide you with the information you want). The session is often broken when the Workforce ATM’s server does not receive further requests from your computer or you simply exit your browser.

The Workforce ATM limits its use of cookies to "session cookies"… types of cookies that are temporarily stored in your computers memory. Session cookies are normally deleted from a users computer when the user logs off the computer or the user exits the browser.

If users have disabled cookies on their work station, they will not be able to log into member services or see any password protected information.

Credit Card Security Policy

For some meetings and conferences, NASWA may allow payment via on-line credit cards.
The credit card transaction uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software to encrypt all credit card data going over the internet.

We only store the credit card type and the last five digits of your credit card number after a registration is processed. The entire credit card number, however, is transmitted to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
