Who can become a NASWA Affiliate?
A NASWA Affiliation is available to organizations interested in the Workforce Investment System, such as workforce investment boards, local one-stop career centers, economic development organizations, community colleges, employment research organizations, and workforce system trainers, consultants, and vendors.
What are the benefits to becoming a NASWA Affiliate?
- Access to NASWA's national information network to support your own organization's efforts;
- Access to NASWA membership lists via the Workforce ATM web site (phone and fax numbers not provided);
- Automatic e-mail notifications when new information is posted on NASWA's web site, the Workforce ATM;
- Access to NASWA's weekly newsletter the, "Workforce Bulletin;"
- Receipt of the Workforce ATM daily "NewsWire;"
- Access to NASWA/CESER training products and webinars;
- Networking opportunities with federal and state workforce investment leaders as well as workforce development professionals in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico;

How much does it cost to become a NASWA Affiliate?
The cost of the Affiliate program per organization is $1,000 per year for up to 5 users. Organizations desiring additional participation above the 5 individuals allowed in the base program are required to pay $200 for each additional user.

How much does it cost to get a Workforce ATM Account?
Accounts are free of charge to employees of NASWA member agencies. Member agencies include the 52 employment security agencies throughout the United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. To sign up, click on "Open A Workforce ATM Account" at the top of the Workforce ATM pages. The URL is:

What do I need to do to get a Workforce ATM Account?
To sign up for a Workforce ATM account, click on "Open A Workforce ATM Account" on the side of the Workforce ATM home page. The URL is:
http://www.workforceatm.org/reg_entr.cfm.
Simply fill in the on-line form, entering your first and last name, title, agency name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, e-mail address, login ID, and password, and click "Register."
Individuals who do not work for an employment security agency or the U.S. Department of Labor cannot get a Workforce ATM account, but individuals or organizations can sign up to become affiliates.

Do I need an account to access all of the information on the Workforce ATM?
ATM accounts or passwords are only required to access the "Member Services" portion of the Workforce ATM.
Do I have to have an account to get E-lerts?
Yes. E-lerts are only available to WorkforceATM.org members.
What are E-lerts?
NASWA/CESER E-lerts enable users to be automatically notified by e-mail when information is added in the sections and subjects they choose to receive.
How do I sign up for E-lerts?
Signing up is easy. Simply log into "Member Services" and click on E-lert Central. The URL is:

To sign up for E-lerts, select any subjects you want to be notified about when new information is posted on the Workforce ATM.
If you would like to be removed from a particular subject, simply uncheck that subject. Highlighted subjects indicate you are already registered for that subject. After you have made your selections, click the submit button.
If I sign up for E-lerts, will my name, address and e-mail be given out to anyone?
No. NASWA/CESER is strongly committed to maintaining the privacy of your personal information and the security of our computer systems.
NASWA/CESER does not collect personally-identifying information about you when you visit the Workforce ATM, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Personal information users provide when registering for a Workforce ATM account or when signing up for E-lerts is never shared with outside individuals or organizations. The information you provide about yourself is confidential. However, if users select to be added to the NASWA E-Mail Directory, their contact information will be available to individuals who also have a Workforce ATM Account.

How do I find archived information on the Workforce ATM?
There are several ways to find archived articles on the Workforce ATM. To begin your search, click Advanced Search on the top navigation bar. Users can either search the archives by subject or do a full text search.
To search the archives by subject, select the subject and the length of time, then click Search.
To do a full text search, enter the word or phrase you want to search for and click Submit Your Search.
What if I forget my Workforce ATM password?
If users forget their password, they can click on Forgot Your Password?, located at the top of each page. Simply enter the e-mail address you used when registering for the Workforce ATM. If it matches our database, your username and password is automatically e-mailed to you. If there is not a match please contact NASWA at (202) 434-8020. You may also email the System Administrator at
snix@fallcomm.com with any difficulty pertaining to your account.
