Full time position available with the Regional Workforce Board in Tallahassee, FL. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least SIX (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the workforce development field with at least THREE (3) years of supervisory experience required. Knowledge of and expertise in workforce development programs and regulations involving Wagner-Peyser, Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Welfare Transition Program, and the Food Stamp Employment and Training Program required. Previous experience in a management level role of a Regional Workforce Board or a One-Stop Career Center is required. Reporting directly to the CEO of the regional workforce board, this position is responsible for program planning, compliance with federal, state, local regulations and internal policies; contract management, inclusive of programmatic contracts and procurement of program services/activities; grant funded programs; personnel management and a variety of duties related to the operational functions of the organization.
