The winners of the NASWA 2006 Labor Market Information Communications -
Publications Awards were announced during the closing ceremonies of the National LMI Directors Conference held October 10-13, 2006 in Little Rock. In this year's contest, NASWA received 83 entries from 25 states.
There were six categories for recognition. The categories and winners are:
Winner: "Construction in Wisconsin: An Industry Perspective and Career Poster" ![]()
The construction report provides a descriptive overview of the construction industry in Wisconsin. It is designed as an informational report for employers, Workforce Development Boards, Job Center partners, workers considering careers in the industry, and job seekers skilled in the construction trades.

Honorable Mention: "Winning Job Opportunities: A Guide for the Formerly Incarcerated in Illinois" ![]()
"Winning Job Opportunities: A Guide for the Formerly Incarcerated" describes some of the best jobs in Illinois, according to education level. The jobs listed provide both the most openings each year and the most opportunities for the formerly incarcerated.
