The Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI) is proud to host the 2007 Unemployment Insurance (UI) Interstate Benefits and Federal Programs Training Conference with the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL).

The 2007 Conference "Know It Now--Preparing for the Future" will take place in the beautiful city of St. Pete Beach, Florida, September 5-7, 2007. This conference will be an invaluable forum to share innovative ideas and to get the latest information dealing with various aspects of the Interstate, Combined Wage Claim and Federal programs for unemployment insurance benefits. Do not miss this opportunity to share ideas and best practices that can be applied to improve services in your state. We look forward to a great conference and to welcoming you to Florida on September 4th!

The site of the 2007 conference is the TradeWinds Island Resorts. Registration deadline for the hotel is August 1, 2007. Hotel registration must be done by phone. Registration for the conference will be $210 and may be done on-line. The conference registration deadline is August 15, 2007.

Check-in for conference attendees will begin at 12:00 noon, on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Tradewinds. An orientation session for all new Interstate Program Coordinators and Federal Program Coordinators will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. The conference will begin on Wednesday morning, September 5, 2007 and end at noon on Friday, September 7, 2007.
