The California Employment Development Department (EDD) is proud to host the 2007 Unemployment Insurance (UI) National Tax Conference (NTC) with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The 2007 NTC, "California Dreamin': Charting the Future of UI" will take place in the beautiful city of San Diego, California. Registration for the conference will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, August 13 and include a reception in the evening. The conference will begin on Tuesday morning, August 14 and end at noon on Thursday, August 16, 2007. This conference is an invaluable forum to share innovative ideas, get the latest information on SUTA dumping, employer fraud, Tax Performance Systems (TPS), delinquency enforcement techniques, UI tax system redesign, and much more. Do not miss this opportunity to share ideas and best practices that can be applied to improve services in your home state. This year’s conference site is the Westin San Diego Emerald Plaza.
