DirectEmployers Association (DEA), a nonprofit consortium of leading U.S. corporations, in alliance with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA). In accordance with its corporate by-laws, the business and affairs of the Association are managed by a board of directors consisting of member company representatives. Daily operations are managed by an executive director and operations staff at the direction of the president and board of directors. The Association's purpose is to develop and manage the JobCentral National Labor Exchange and related Internet systems and software to help employers increase labor market efficiency and reduce recruiting costs.
